Zond L1S-1

Zond L1S-1 was a modified Soyuz 7K-L1S spacecraft carried on the first N1 launch (vehicle 3L), planned to fly around the Moon and photograph it. The N1's first stage failed about a minute after liftoff and the escape tower pulled the capsule clear.
