Chang'e 5-T1 was a Chinese test mission that flew a return capsule around the Moon on a free-return trajectory and recovered it after a skip re-entry, rehearsing the high-speed return for the Chang'e 5 sample-return mission. Its service module went on to lunar orbit, and it also carried the Manfred Memorial Moon Mission (4M) payload.
